Our shed was damaged last December by a 40 foot branch falling off one of the trees in the cemetery behind our garden. The original shed was 12ft wide by 10ft deep and after searching on the web for ages, I found the Duke log cabin.
The Duke was 2ft wider than my original shed so we arranged with Cabins UK for them to send their fitters to take 28cm off the left hand side to give us room to get down the sides to paint it once installed.
Amos (a legend carpenter!) and his able assistant (Inistri?) arrived on Sunday morning at 8am and were able to reduce the sheds width by 28cm by cutting down and re-pointing all the joints on the left hand side of the cabin. After that they started putting the cabin up for me.
The whole thing was finished by 5:30pm on the same day!!
It's going to take me longer to paint it!
